Sun Point is located near East Glacier Park Village with views of Saint Mary River and the surrounding mountains. Specifically, to get to Sun Point Elopement Ceremony Location, you will need to hike the 1.7-mile Sun Point Trail, which starts at the Going-to-the-Sun Road pullout. The hike takes about 45 minutes to complete out & back. Another key point, the trail is fairly easy, with gradual elevation gain and beautiful views along the way. Once you reach the top, you will have a breathtaking lake, mountains and valley view.
A couple of things to keep in mind if you’re considering Sun Point as your ceremony location. The ceremony location has a time restriction. This means that ceremonies must take place before 2 pm. After the ceremony at Sun Point, we will venture into additional areas of the park to capture photos.
